As an insatiable fan I wanted Seb to WIN EVERYTHING from freaking Practice 1, Practice 2, Practice 3, Qualifying and the race itself.
With Ferrari Team Principal Maurizio Arrivabene
bluntly answering that the reds do not stand a chance with the mighty Mercedes in Monza, okay, I will take Seb’s second place finish last night.
Anyway, who am I to be bitter when Seb himself tells everyone that this second podium place finish is the best ever?
Also, it was a joy seeing a sea of people during the awarding. An absolutely smashing atmosphere in Monza!
Though it was a bit awkward remembering that this is the same crowd that boo’d Seb in the past; anyway, time to move on.
By the way, this second place finish gives Sebby 178 points in the Driver’s Standing, 21 and 74 points behind Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton respectively.
Next stop? Singapore. Guys you know what this means. Since the first F1 race was held in the Lion City in 2008 Seb was able to bag three consecutive first place finishes. On a very bad season like 2013 he placed second. This circuit loves Seb,
Asian circuits love Seb. I look forward to this one.
Good job in Italy though! Forza Sebastian, Forza Ferrari!
