Schalke 04 vs. Bayern Munich 1-3 with a late charge from the Bavarians

Good morning and happy Sunday!

Schalke vs Bayern
Happy in the rain. Yup, still on top of the Bundesliga table.

Well guess what. I have been awake since 2:30 AM with only three hours of interrupted sleep.

Of course the work week was nothing but tough so I skipped the first half of the match (with a 1-1 score when I turned on the television at 53′) to sleep some more.

Props to Schalke though because this one’s hard fought by the boys in red. I saw the strength of the defense of the royal blues then again the result was in favor of Bayern with a surprise header from the lost Javi Martinez. See, this bloke’s always there when Bayern needs someone to save the day (Super Cup 2013! It’s Super Cup, right? Bayern and Chelsea?).

A late attack by the unparalleled Thomas Mueller closes the game at 1-3 (opening goal is from left back wonder kid David Alaba).

It was a great game though and also happy to see Benedikt Howedes back with the armband and hmm well Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who has grown his facial hair in a manner that makes me want to shave it for him haha.
